Andalusia couldn't be more different: Dense pine forests, mountains up to 2500m and abundant vegetation are replaced by the sandy desert area "El Desierto de Tabernas" where many western films were shot. On the coast in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park you will find lonely beaches by the blue sea and trails over the cliffs of volcanic origin.

The ideal tour for autumn / winter!
When it is cold and rainy in most part of Europe, you will find ideal bike temperatures in eastern Andalusia, in the province of Almería. From the sandy desert area "El Desierto de Tabernas" where many western films were shot, our tracks lead you to the coast in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. There you reach to lonely beaches by the blue sea and scenic trails over volcanic origin cliffs. In winter, the arid region briefly turns green and there is an explosion of flowers in all colors.
SIERRA NEVADA CROSS
MOUNTAIN BIKE INDIVIDUAL
- Schedule: from May to September, when snow conditions allow it.
- Number of participants: minimun 2 persons
- Requirements: 50 to 80 km and 1000 to 2000 metres uphill, for experienced, very fit mountain bikers who find their way themselves with maps and information.
- Destinataries: Experienced mountain bikers who like to go independently with GPS or maps.
- Terrain: unpaved (gravel) roads, paved mountain roads, dry river beds and mule paths.
- Included: 7 bed and breakfast in typical lodgings (accomodation) and hotels (4 x double / single room with shower / WC; 3 x double / single room with shared bathroom), 2 x dinners, transfers from Almeria to Lanteira, maps and information, Finsher Shirt,
no luggage transport. - Price: 590 €, single room supplement 140 €

From Granada to Almeria
6 stages per day, approximately 50 to 80 km and 1000 to 2000 metres uphill.
You can experience Sierra Nevada individually with maps and information. We will book the hotels for you.
When snow conditions allow, the highest mountain in the Sierra Nevada and the Iberian peninsula (Mulhacen 3482m) can be ascended. From Granada to Almeria you will cycle across the Sierra Nevada and through diverse picturesque landscapes and vegetation.
PYRENEES CROSS
Through the Pyrenees, from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean
13 stages, a total of 22.000 meters uphill and 900 kilometers.
- Dates: from June to September
- Number of participants: minimum 2 persons
- Dates: per day: from 600 - 2200 meters uphill and 40 -105 kilometers.
- Destinataries: Mountain bikers who like to experience pirenees individually and are used to ride several stages in a row and have a good physical condition. Thera are only a few technical sections on the tour. The orientation is with GPS tracks.
- Terrain: Gravel roads, small asfalted roads, hiking trails.
- Included: 14 nights in double or shared rooms in hotels and rural accommodation (some with shower / WC in the room, sometimes shared shower),breakfast, GPS tracks, no luggage transportation.
- Price: 1240 €, single room on request.
Crossing the Pyrenees in the east-west direction. We start on the Catalonian Costa Brava and reach the Atlantic Ocean in the Basque country. The Transpirenaica is a fantastic tour through pristine valleys and wild natural landscapes, biking on steep rocky mountains. It impresses with contrasting sceneries, such as wet and dry forests, deserts, mountains, deep canyons and wide valleys. The remote mountain villages with their hospitable inhabitants take us back into another ancient world.
VUELTA A SIERRA NEVADA - ROAD BIKE INDIVIDUAL
From Granada to Almeria.
Five road bike tours, a rest day in Granada or ascension to the Pico de Veleta.
- Schedule: Your favorite date from 1.4. - 30.6. and 1.9. - 15.10.
- Number of participants: minimum 2 Persons
- Requirements: Each day approximately 80 to 140 km and 1000 to 2400 meters uphill, the entire route runs in mountainous terrain.
- Destinataries: Experienced road cyclists going by themselves with good maps, GPS and information. The entire route is in mountainous terrain..
- Terrain: small paved back roads.
- Included: 5 nights in double room with shower / WC, 2 nights on the bikestation, breakfast, 2 evening meals, maps, luggage transport. (Alhambra-entry is not included, tickets should be reserved), Finsher Shirt.

On minor roads through the wild Andalusian countryside. We cross the Alpujarras in the footsteps of the Moors on the south side of Sierra Nevada.
In Granada you decide by yourselve if you prefer a rest day in the town and visit the famous Alhambra or rather climb with your bike up to the snow on Pico de Veleta.

In the province of Almeria there are a lot of small roads with good surface. In February you can enjoy pleasant temperatures to complete the first training miles. In automn it´s possible to extend the season until December. Ideal for bike training in the diverse landscapes of eastern Andalusia where also can see professional riders in winter.
